Susie`s Bake Shop & Restaurant in Sikeston

We had Susie's cater a large meeting at the convention center. We had mini muffins, fruit, and breakfast casserole in the morning and cookies and assorted bars in the afternoon. Everything they brought was amazing, the muffins were spectacular and the desserts were to die for. Thank you!

Food is not all that special. Don't know why everybody talks about how good it is. Was not impressed. Sweets are way to high priced. My wife makes better food and sweets than Susie's.

Great sandwiches on fresh baked breads and buns. They give you a basket of hot rolls that are better than Lamberts + prices are very reasonable. Lots of dessert options too.

Susie's is a great upscale bakery and restaurant. The owner and staff are very friendly and courteous! Located in historic downtown Sikeston, MO.

We have traveled through MO on vacation and decided to stop here. I was truly disappointed with the service we received. They acted like they had a club and we weren’t part of it. The women never smiled at us once. They barely spoke to us. The waiter was nice, but he didn’t listen to our order and 3 of our dishes were not prepared correctly. They were out of 3 of the items that we asked for. We were never greeted and never thanked for stopping in.

DELICIOUS! What a treat traveling between Memphis and St. Louis to have a real meal. Worth a few minutes off highway. And the cake-out of this world. Also very good choices for me as I am gluten free. Yummy salads!!

This is my first time there, the food and waitress was great. I had half turkey sandwich and cup of gumbo. Got a mango smoothie to go.

Great atmosphere. We were waited on by Anne, such a sweet lady. She made us feel like family. The food is home style cooking. I had the Tuesday special, meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy with green beans. For dessert I had a delicious peach pie. They also have some cute gifts on the bakery side. All in all a wonderful place to stop.

Love The Muffin Rolls and Tomato Florentin Soup. And the English lady Ms Annie always makes us feel very welcomed and love her jokes and stoties!

My friend placed an order for her and I for lunch. When I went to pick it up, one woman in particular was rude and very short.Left a bad taste in my mouth. We haven't ordered since. 😔

Ham panini sandwich with cheddar cheese, sliced apples topped with a zesty mustard on a sourdough bread was delicious

If you're looking for a chain or someone throwing rolls at you, this isn't it. It's quaint, quiet, local. The food is great. I highly recommend it.

Third day in town on business and always on the lookout for great local restaurants I found Susie's Bake Shop & Restaurant. I had a bad experience the day before at a "poplar" local place, a bad day and was in the mood to get away. Was I in for a treat! The staff was friendly, the food was fantastic and great price and the selection of deserts was beyond the scope of a single visit. Alison (with one "L") was my waitress and she took great care of me. I sat back and let the rough start to the day melt away. Just looking around was a treat. Great in store marketing and nice local as well as main stream choice of gifts.I plan on returning for lunch the rest of the week. Looking forward to being treated again and again!

Attended a catered function over the weekend at Susie B's. Great food and good service. The chicken salad, rolls, carrot cake and sweet tea were all fantastic. Thanks for a great lunch.

The cakes looked delicious, but the sandwhich we had was nothing special.

Our panini was very good along with my chicken dumpling soup. Friendly local place. We didn't have room to try any of the pastries but if the traffic coming and going was any indication, they must be good. Bathrooms need help along with the place in general though. We'd go back.
